I take some card stock paper out of my craft stuff, print what I want on it, cut it to the shape I want and then cover both sides with clear packing tape. When I’m done I punch a hole in the corner and put on the bag. This is simple, easy and cost pennies. It is also easy to make a new one if the first one gets lost. (Card stock is craft paper that is thicker than regular paper or construction paper.)

Another way is to laminate it either at the copy center or by yourself. If you want to do it yourself, you can buy laminating sheets at the craft store or office supply store. You cut the sheets up and cover your item. You can also buy a machine to do so. There is the Xyron machine that you can use. It runs around $ 50 and the cartridge is around $ 20. You can use it for other crafts but if you just want to laminate a few items…use the tape method, sheet method or get it done at the copy center.

I have a 22″ and I use it for a carry on. I’m so glad I have one that big (It just barely makes it under the requirements for size) because they are now fining you for checked bags over 50 pounds. So I can use my carry on to take more stuff. Also, a few airlines are charging for a second checked bag and the rest may follow.

I think all the chill pads are the same size. It shouldn’t make a difference as the laptop sits centered on it.
