Wipe thе inside down wіth a weak solution οf bleach, thеn рυt baking soda inside fοr a few days, thіѕ ѕhουƖԁ remove thе scent. Aftеr thіѕ, сƖеаn thе leather раrt wіth saddle soap аnԁ thеу ѕhουƖԁ bе аѕ ɡοοԁ аѕ nеw.

I use vinegar for an oder remover. It works great. If it can get rid of pet odors and skunk odors it should work for your purses.
Three things: Bleach, vinegar, or Fuller brush degreaser. Bleach will probably harm the bags, not sure if vinegar could, but I do know the degreaser has saved many of my items stored in my basement, clothes, bags, anything that is somewhat washable. It has even ENTIRELY removed and saved some of my favorite clothing, by even removing the entire stain. It doesn’t just kill the mold and mildew, it removes everything. However, if it has actually eaten away the bag or material, nothing can restore it.
