Move the first sentance after the second and re-word it to read something like “My sister has taken time off of her job in New York to visit with my mother and I. We will be visiting her there this week.”
And I think you mean the Lady Liberty. If that’s the case, say the Statue of Liberty instead.
When talking about the restaurants say “eating at high class restaurants” drop the “the”.
