~~Rolling it definitely helps. Get a small spray bottle (cosmetic sections at stores carries them). Fill with water and add a tablespoon of liquid fabric softener. Shake well and before each use. When you unroll it, just spray any wrinkles it has and they fall right out. It’s amazing to watch them disappear. Even though rolling is the less wrinkling packing, you’ll still get some with any type of cotton or linen shirt.~~
Bonnie is right….take the plastic from a garment from the cleaners….youcan actually purchase these …as I have done for the purposes of traveling….lay the garment inside..and then roll it up….when you arrive, you can unroll it and you will have no wrinkles. At the very least you might have one or two…however this is the surest way to accomplish what you have asked. I traveled to japan and did this with two weeks worth of clothes…I had taken an iron but never once needed it. It doesn’t hurt to wash and treat the garment in question with a fabric softener as well, making sure doubly that you have the clean and fresh as well as freshly pressed desired effect….great question!
Thanks

The only thing I would add is that you stretch out wrinkles as you roll.
