At first glance, the appearance of the case is very appealing and when you put it on, you’ll notice that your Macbook Pro still has its slim, sleek aesthetics. The feel / material of the case is also nice. The top cover of the Incipio Feather is very nice, it grips tightly (almost too tightly) to the screen of the Macbook, and taking it off is quite a hassle (and may lead to damages around the edges of your Macbook as you try to take it off)
HOWEVER . . .
After closer examination of the case, you’ll notice that there are gaps all around the edges of your Macbook Pro, especially around the corners. These gaps not only allow dust and other substances to get in between the case and the Macbook Pro, but it also allows for scratches. After a couple days, the bottom half will start to lose grip and you’ll notice that it comes off very easily even when you aren’t trying to take it off.
Overall, I am sorely disappointed with the overall quality of the case. But if you don’t care about the poorly attached bottom half of the case, then this is a very nice case.
I recommend getting a Speck or Incase hardshell, those fit perfectly.
(I’ve noticed with all these cases though that the new 85W Magsafe Vertical Charger doesn’t fit too well with the cases on)
