I’ve had this bag for almost 2 years now. I liked it’s size for my laptop at the time (12″ Powerbook G4 Aluminium). Since the bag is designed for a 13″ laptop, it didn’t fit snugly, but it was acceptable. It also has some useful compartments and the rain shield was a nice feature.
This bag is on it’s way out now. The zippers began fraying in the first year. The elastic cords also lost their elasticity. The bag is not rigid, or even semi rigid – I didn’t like that at all. Another issue I had with it was the velcro which keeps the laptop section closed. It didn’t hold very well.

I’ve been looking around for a sleek laptop bag for a long time. I prefer 13″ laptop screens; however, most bags out there are huge and designed for large laptops. The materials are very high grade, its very comfortable and has plenty of space for all of your gadgets. I’d say you could fit one 13″ laptop and two textbooks inside easily.

This bag is advertised as being the small, but it is actually the medium which is larger.
Upon receiving the first bag, I called customer service and they agreed to send the correct bag after I returned the first, at no additional cost to me. This was fine. System errors happen, and at that time, I didn’t need the bag right away as college began the next month.
The second bag arrived today, and it was the same size as the first. So I called again. This time, customer service was much less helpful. When “evolution m” (medium) is stitched into the actual bag, don’t you think there might be an error in how the bag is named in the system? It doesn’t mater what the system is telling you if you can look at the physical bag and see that it’s not correct. But customer service didn’t even try to correct the mistake and kept insisting that I received the correct bag because my 13″ computer will still fit in a bag designed for computers up to 15″. While this is true, would you want your investment wobbling around in a bag that’s too big for it?
So I’m sending this bag back for a refund.
I realize this is a small thing to be upset over. If college wasn’t starting in less than a week, I don’t think I’d be as vexed, but now I have very little time to find or receive a replacement.
*Note: The one star rating is completely for JR&R’s poor service. The actual bag itself is quite nice. It’s just too big for my computer and I don’t want something that expensive to have extra room to move when there’s another, smaller bag out there that would fit it better.
